I’m pretty sure by now you’ve seen kids and/or parents playing with toy drones in a park near your house. So, get ready for the next step. A few days ago, in Greenwich Village, New York City, this ‘missing drone’ flier was spotted (via Jason Kottke’s blog):
So here’s today’s random epiphany: drones are the new cats. They get lost like cats. People make obnoxious videos with them, like with cats. Soon old ladies will start feeding them in the street. And, worst of all, get ready for interminable conversations about personality differences between dog and drone owners…
